Free electricity

Clear blue skies at Athelhampton mean plenty of sunshine for our project ‘Athelhampton Zero’, a combination of Solar PV + 12 Tesla Batteries + Ground Source Heat, means we can reach our goal of carbon neutrality.

Yesterday we ran the whole site from 10am on solar, and stored enough power for overnight use, today was even better, generating 750kWh of solar power, more than we can use, with 200kWh of our green energy going back to the National Grid for others to use.
