We have had a busy weekend at Athelhampton House, as another new room has opened to the public. The East Wing Attic has been renovated over the last 6 months, and is now open as an art gallery.
The art gallery was opened by Simon Hoare MP, with Arthur Neal as our first Artist exhibiting over 75 works.
The team faced many challenges completing this project on time, especially as Athelhampton is open to the public all year round, the work had to be carried out as discreetly as possible to minimise disturbance to our visitors.
Joining the other 20 rooms that are open to the public, as well as art on display, the room has the most fabulous views over the gardens.

When compared to other horror video games, five nights at freddy's stands out. Over the course of several games, novels, and spin-offs, the plot thickens and becomes more intriguing.
The new art gallery at Athelhampton sounds like a beautiful addition, especially with the focus on showcasing artwork in a historic and atmospheric setting. I always feel that proper lighting plays a huge role in how visitors experience art, because it can highlight textures, colors, and fine details that might otherwise go unnoticed. That same attention to visual presentation is important in creative display hobbies too, which is why I often explore ideas and inspiration from https://lelightgo.com/. Thoughtfully designed lighting solutions can transform any display into something immersive, and it’s great to see how carefully curated environments, like this gallery, use light to enhance storytelling and creativity.
The gallery was formally opened by Among Us Simon Hoare MP, marking an important milestone in the ongoing development of Athelhampton House as a cultural and creative venue.
