A busy weekend at Athelhampton, as a new room opened to the public. The east wing attic has been renovated over the last 6 months, and is now open as an art gallery.
The gallery was opened by Simon Hoare MP, with Arthur Neal as our first artist exhibiting over 75 works.
The team at Athelhampton faced many challenges completing this project on time, especially as Athelhampton is open all year around, the work had to be done quietly to minimise disturbance to our visitors.
Joining the other 20 rooms that are open to the public, as well as art on display, the room has fabulous views over the gardens.
Yet in practice, Dordle demands a level of restraint and planning that sets it apart from similar games. Success is less about quick intuition and more about managing limited resources wisely.
