Silver Safe Restoration

The Silver Safe at Athelhampton has just reopened after a week of restoration. It is the smallest of the 20 rooms open to the public.

Athelhampton House was purchased in 1660 by Sir Robert Long, (treasurer to Queen Henrietta Maria) he was a wealthy landowner and had many estates in Dorset, London, Wiltshire and Yorkshire.

In the 1750's his decendants spent time at all their estates and when they weren't at Athelhampton their housekeeper would lock away the family silver behind a huge iron door.

Why not come and explore? Athelhampton House and Gardens is open 7 days a week througout the year, and is a great day out in Dorset.

A lot of people like the endless-runner style game Snow Rider 3D, which is set in a snowy world and mixes speed, skill, and excitement. The player steers a character on a sled down a rough, icy hill that is full of obstacles in this game. The main goal is to get as far as you can without hitting, collecting gifts along the way and staying away from obstacles like rocks, trees, and snowmen.
