I was talking to some of our visitors at Athelhampton about the fabulous ham stone that makes the walls of the formal gardens, out of the corner of my eye, I spotted one of the gardening staff busy mowing, going around and around and around the Corona garden.
Oh, I can just picture that scene so clearly—the sound of the mower, the smell of fresh-cut grass! It’s the most peaceful part of any garden, isn't it? That quiet repetition is exactly what I love about puttering around my own yard on a Saturday. My old Homelite trimmer has been a huge help for years, honestly, making it easy to tidy up the edges and just get lost in the task. It’s amazing how a simple chore can leave you feeling so relaxed and accomplished. This post really captured that lovely, meditative feeling perfectly.
