Join handknitter Alastair Braidwood as he tackles a complete fisherman’s gansey from start to finish.

 

Taking about 10 days, this marathon of the knitter’s craft sees him take a simple single strand of British wool and dextrously loop it in a finished pullover, with a special design based on Athelhampton House, to be auctioned off as it grows.
