Free EV Charging

As part of our Zero emissions project, Athelhampton now offers 10 Electric Vehicle Charging points.

Located in the visitor carpark, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

This May Bank Holiday Weekend you can charge for FREE when buying admission to Athelhampton House & Gardens.

1. When you arrive park at one of our 10 chargers.

2. Either buy your tickets online or at reception. 

3. Inform the reception staff that you would like a free charge.

4. Return to your car, connect to the car to the charger, take a note or photograph the serial number of the charger.

5. Return to reception and inform the staff member of the serial number, and they will start your charge.

6. Your car will charge at a maximum of 22kw, until you end the charge.

7. Valid May 22nd, 23rd, 24th and 25th 2026, for visitors paying admission. Otherwise normal rates will apply

8. No alternative will be offered if all the chargers are occupied, but you can reserve a charger using ZapMap

Normal Charging costs £0.39 per kWh

We use the popular Monta system for management, reservation and payment which you can download below.

​

You can other compatible Apps as well, Shell, Octopus & Electroverse have been used in the past.
