Dorset Winter Food & Drink Fair

The Dorset Winter Food & Drink Fair returns to Athelhampton House & Gardens on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th November 2026, bringing together more than 60 small businesses, local producers and makers from across Dorset.

Our final seasonal market of the year, the Winter Food & Drink Fair is a wonderful opportunity to shop local in Dorset and meet the people behind some fantastic local food, drink and handmade products.

​

Explore the stalls in our large marquee and beautiful formal gardens, discovering everything from Dorset cheeses, preserves and baked goods to craft drinks, gifts and handmade treasures.

​

There will also be hot food and live music throughout the weekend – and, dare we say it, the perfect opportunity to begin a little Christmas shopping in the historic surroundings of Athelhampton.

Admission

Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th November 2026
10am–3pm
Admission: £5 per person

Admission includes access to Athelhampton's beautiful Grade I listed formal gardens during the event.

Last admission is at 2.30pm.

Coach House Restaurant

The Coach House Restaurant will be open as usual from 9.30am–5pm, with last orders at 4pm.

Come for breakfast before the fair, stop for lunch during your visit, or enjoy coffee and cake after exploring the stalls.

Visiting Athelhampton House

Please note that Athelhampton House will be closed during the Winter Food & Drink Fair weekend.

Fair visitors can request a £5 discount voucher for a future visit to Athelhampton House & Gardens, giving you the opportunity to return and explore the historic house another day.

Dogs

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome to the fair, in the gardens, and the marquee, however  they are not permitted inside the house.

Think of the fair like a supermarket, your dog must be comfortable in large crowded areas, and some stallholders may insist you stand back from their produce as this is primarily a Food & Drink event.
